After being in the
meat business for 50 years, Shipon's became an industry innovator by
introducing the "Chicken Sandwich Steak" to the market. It has since
become a staple menu item for thousands of restaurants, pizza shops,
sandwich shops, convenience stores, etc. across the country. In
order to expand its product line, Shipon's decided to manufacture
the "Philly Beef Steak", using only the highest quality standards
and products in the industry.
After much success from the Philly steak business, Shipon's was able
to position itself as a broker of further processed chicken
products, second to none with the ability to create new products,
duplicate existing products, and compete with competitive pricing on
items such as tenders, breast fillets, fajita strips, patties, etc.
Acting once again as an industry innovator, Shipon's has created and
begun to manufacture Veggie Steak, a beef and chicken substitute
that is vegan, fully cooked, low calorie, high protein, and contains
no cholesterol. Veggie Steak looks like beef and chicken, and when
used in a recipe, will chew and taste like beef and chicken as well.
Veggie Steak is being sold to most colleges in the Philadelphia area
and will see much growth in the near future. Veggie Steak is a

a subsidiary of Shipon's.
Using many of its core products, Shipon's is looking to roll out a
fully prepared line of products such as wraps, strombolis, etc., as
